Sevilla agree Immobile deal

Ciro
Immobile will travel to Spain and undertake a medical on Monday before joining the La Liga outfit for pre-season training...

The Italy striker moved to the Bundesliga side 12 months ago with high hopes after scoring 22 goals in 33 matches for Torino in Serie A.

However, the 25-year-old netted only three times in 24 appearances and fell down the pecking order under former boss Jurgan Klopp.

Dortmund’s new boss Thomas Tuchel has now also decided that Immobile would be better off elsewhere and the club confirmed on Sunday a deal had been struck with Sevilla.

"Borussia Dortmund have agreed with Spanish side Sevilla to the loan of BVB striker Ciro Immobile,"  Dortmund confirmed in a statement on their official website.

"Accordingly, the Italy striker will join subject to mandatory medical checks and will initially spend his time at Sevilla on loan until June 30, 2016."
