Barcelona 2-1 Bayer Leverkusen

Suarez scored a late winner

Barcelona 2-1 Bayer Leverkusen

Luis Suarez snatches win!!!

Barcelona came from behind to claim a hard-fought 2-1 win over Bayer Leverkusen ...
It appeared the European Champions would struggle to deal without the injured Messi as Papadopoulos' first-half header gave the Bundesliga side a deserved half-time lead.

Things then went from bad to worse for Barcelona when they lost Iniesta to a suspected hamstring injury on the hour mark.

The hosts toiled in front of goal to no avail until substitute Sergi Roberto tapped home a rebound 10 minutes from time, after Munir El Haddadi's deflected effort was parried by Leverkusen 'keeper Leno.

And then Suarez sealed the victory in the 83nd minute, benefitting from a brilliant piece of skill from Munir to earn Barcelona their first victory in the Champions League this season.
