Turkey captain Ardan Turan has signed a five-year contract, while Atletico Madrit get 34milion euros and the possibility of 7m in add-ons.

The deal has been done by Barcelona interim hierarchy ahead of the presidential election later this month, and it includes provision to sell the player back to Atletico before July 20 if the incoming board so wishes.

Ardan Turan leaves Atletico after four years, during which time he won the Spanish title and reached the final of the Champions League.

The 28-year-old is Barca's second summer signing following the transfer of Aleix Vidal from Sevilla.
